Hedge Druidry in the 21st Century

Thanks to the generosity of my beloved spouse ‘M’ I have been gifted a SatMap Active 10 GPS hand-held unit. It comes with the kind of default map detail that you get with a site like StreetMap, but you can also purchase additional maps with 1:25 Ordnance Survey detail. I’ve just ordered The Peak District and Wiltshire, and now I can’t wait to see how well it works in the field.

I hope to be able to upload route maps of our journeys, show detailed plots of sacred sites, and visibly show the alignments between them. For the moment, that’s all theoretical. I’ve got some studying and some walking to do, but this year promises much more accuracy in our site maps, or at the very least, much less time wasted getting lost on days out!

Ah, since when did I become a techno-pagan? :-)

[May] - We're back from Ireland with lots of tales to tell. Will post my Egypt stories in the next few weeks, then expect some tales from the Emerald Isle soon after.

Omnia's BRAN
The band Omnia's track about the god Bran. Lovely, and topical too.
