One thing I found very interesting is how your experience so much mirrored my own when I first began pendulum dowsing last year. The most striking similarity for me was when you said that every time you were about to contact this entity you fell asleep. I started down my particular path over 20 years ago and experimented with channeling and all manner of psychic work. Yet, when I started trying to communicate to a spirit guide/entity that came through my dowsing on a letterboard the same exact thing happened. Even with grounding and going slow, the energy drain was almost always exhausting. (I've heard it might have to do with hydration as well.) Even with practice I still get droopy-eyed. :) Just wanted to say thanks for helping me see it wasn't just me!
