Psychological recycling: the atonement

June 18, 2010

As I promised recently I went back to the large pond that I discovered last week. If you remember, the pond was littered with rubbish, which was a crying shame because the place was otherwise incredibly beautiful. I promised myself that in order to atone for an incident when I was young that I would go and clear the area of rubbish and make the pond beautiful again.

A beautiful pond near Chester

Well, in the blazing June sun that’s just what I did. I got stung, scratched, wet and mucky, and I loved every minute of it!
Here’s a photo of the three bags of rubbish that I took to the local rubbish tip afterwards.

Job done. Everyone’s happy.

Gwas.
