The Sting of the Queen Bee

The Sting of the Queen Bee

I wanted to investigate an animal image which had been been appearing to people close to me for the past week. Lots of people close to me had been reporting seeing images of a bee in dreams or visions and this made me curious. The common factor was that they were telling me about it, so I decided to visit a place of power to find out what was going on. That place would be Moel Ty Uchaf stone circle above Llandrillo. On the walk up I stopped at guardian trees to re-introduce myself. The air was warm and the evening felt like I was in no hurry – I should pay proper respect tonight. One particular tangle of roots caught my eye – such natural beauty, clinging tenaciously to the track-side soil: The Bouquet Rebuke On previous visits I might have stopped to...

Return of the Spirit of Creation

Return of the Spirit of Creation

Any creative act can have its moments of high intensity, and then some lulls. When you have a creative project under way the lulls are like having a headache – you don’t really want them and you feel as though they are somewhat forced upon you. So it was that this month “real life events” began to get in the way of some writing that I am doing, just as the speed of the work had reached a manageable and satisfying pace. Some of the events were very mundane, but in a twist of The Wheel of Fortune the other event was something which would, once again, inspire me to pick up where I left off, and indeed to accelerate the work. I find myself in a London hotel room near to Euston Station. Hardly an inspiring location, except that I have a small...

Saint Germain and the Violet Flame

Saint Germain and the Violet Flame

Some healing work from my shamanic friend Debra had managed to clear what I can only call “a dark blue limit“. It was some form of limitation – a spiritual barrier – and her work with me had caused the dark inky blueness to be released. I felt like this had opened me up to “the next stage”, although I didn’t know what that was. Then I began to piece it together from my reading of the work of The Compte De St Germain. I have worked through the following list of books in the last few weeks:- St Germain: Master Alchemist by Elizabeth Clare Prophet The Count of Saint-Germain: Mystic and Philosopher by Isabel Cooper-Oakley The Most Holy Trinosophia of the Comte de Saint Germain by Manly P.Hall I was exploring my new quest,...

Another spiral comes around

Another spiral comes around

As you walk this crazy path… “Divine Guidance leads a man to perplexity” You begin to notice the spirals in your life. I have begun to note them here for three reasons. It adds to the flavour of the tales here It is a reminder to myself – I can’t recall everything (in fact I can’t recall many things) As the great psychologist and explorer Abraham Maslow demonstrated experimentally. The more you talk about them, the more they happen or the more you recognise them. As a previous post intimated, I am on a journey (along with a Facebook group of 150 people) of exploring the Forty Rules of Love ostensibly a novel written by Elif Shafak (another person who seems to have got involved in my quests – Wand ingredient). One of the...

Funny, what comes around

I was having coffee with my nephew the other day and he tells me of a post that I had put on Facebook recently. It was regarding a book that I had just purchased…Masnavi by Rumi. It shouldn’t be a surprise to readers here. As you know, the signs have been leading me in the direction of Sufism for quite some time. Here is a link to pretty much all the posts  related to that journey. From the tales my mum used to tell me when I was a kid, to the time spent amongst the Sufi’s last year to my current ventures. Oh by the way did I tell you about that? You can read all about it here. In some respects I am being immersed in the works of Sufism, Dervishes, and Rumi. To that end, I had purchased the above tome of poetry. As I said, my nephew mentioned my...

Life tumbles on OR Forty Rules of Love

Life tumbles on OR Forty Rules of Love

As you may know, one of the requirements of this wand that I am forging is a gift from the author Elif Shafak. Why you may ask, So have I. In fact I have no idea. I came across a Turkish saying the other day… “Divine guidance is to bring a man to perplexity” Seems quite appropriate to my life for the last eight or so years. Going back to the gift, I have no idea how I am going to acquire that. It’s the universes problem. I will follow the path, such as it is. Nevertheless, I have enjoyed reading her books and highly recommend them. A mere month ago I literally devoured an offering by Elif called, Forty Rules of Love. It is a historical novel based on the meeting between the now famous Sufi poet, Rumi and an itinerant Dervish named, Shams...
