Mission Impossible Part 1

It was a rather rainy Sunday afternoon (12 August 2011) when I decided to take a trip out to the Wizards wood. I have a wonderful affiliation with that place as it was the first place that I had really communed with tree energies and also the first place where I had received a name (the Magician who Creates his own Worlds). Wow, was that a long time ago or what (in fact almost 3 years ago)?

Arriving there at around 5:30 in the afternoon I immediately dowsed for the best place to commune with the Genius Loci of the place. I was off, as is the case with a lot of wanderings in that forest, along paths, then into the foliage, and along paths again, until finally I recognised my destination. It was the Father of the Forest. Was this the place that I was going to be meditating? As I got closer, the rods veered off and I was led to a tree some 50 foot away from the FotF.

Before I began my commune, I wanted to ask some prelim questions:

  • Am I going to get something to do with my knights quest? Yes. Cool!
  • Is it another blue key? No. Not so cool.
  • Hmmm…is it about where the quest is heading? Yes.
  • Is it about a current key? Yes.
  • New York? No, 
  • Pennant? No
  • Strength of Arm? Yes.

OK… so now I am ready to do a meditation. I lean against the (rod) directed tree and tune out of the material into the sacred….

After a while I see a reflection of myself. Then a orange, yellow and red rainbow of fog swirls up from the ground and rises slowly and as my reflection breathes in – the fog swirls into its nose and into its body. Then a voice says “I am perfect health” and I can see the fog swirling inside my body to just below my stomach. As I am watching I see my whole body start to glow from the insde until it is all a bright white pure light.

Next thing I back in the world. Wow! What an experience. I pondered mere moments before I took out my dowsing rods. My intuition was on fire!

  • Does Strength of Arm also mean physical well-being too? Yes
  • Hmmm…It looked like that fog was around my pancreas area (as a guess) Does this health include my Diabetes? Yes
  • Should I be managing my diabese better? er…no…(half and half).
  • Okay…deep breath…Should I heal my diabetes? Yes and this is one of those flip the rods inside out moments too!

Okay…What the Zarquon! I exclaim to myself before continuing on…

  • Can I do it? Yes.
  • Do I have all the knowledge I need? No!

O and here is a good one…

  • Is “I am in perfect health” a good intention/incantation to have? No? What??

So I am stood there pondering and I recall that the exact words were…”I am perfect health” So I rephrase the above question and get a Yes! More questions were needed:

  • Is this intention enough? No
  • Does it require a diet change? Yes.
  • Is Raw good enough? No. O? That is a bit dissapointing.
  • Is there anything else I need to do, Yes?
    Well the only thing left is energy work, so I asked do I need to incorporate energy work? Yes (but a vague one). My intuition kicked in.
  • Am I already doing energy work aren’t I? Yes,
  • By following this quest? Yes.

Then anothe thing pops into my head…Diabetes is a 2nd/3rd chakra illness. Now 2/3 are to do with change and will power. So I ask, is “Saying YES to adventure” the energy work that I need to keep doing. i.e. 2/3 chakra work? Yes (and this is a big YES).

Place where I was named

So I am in a bit of limbo land…A scientifically incurable illness and I have a “Cure it” edict as part of an existing blue key…not even a key of its own! As I am walking back to the car my rational brain kicks in and thinks…”is this all real?”

As you know I have often been tempted by the notion of healing it but have been put off by the “impossibility” of it and now I get it as a part of a key! So as I am leaving the forest, on impulse I turn around to the trees and shout out…”Can I have a clue, please?” pretty much in resignation.

That evening I wanted to converse with my partner on the energetic path, Gras as I was pretty much in the land of the impossible. However he was off being a social-ite I had to turn to my inspirational girlfriend for support in my quest for the insanely impossible (and after all the sidekicking i’ve done for Gwas!! :-)  Vivian has totally overcome a health challenge or two herself so the incredible advice I got from her was, “Yes, I thought you would have sorted that out already!” Double Wow!
 
Anywho (An Amercanism) …all that was on Sunday…Then comes Monday and I get a massive sledge hammer sized answer to my last two questions…

  1. Is this all real?
  2. Can I have a clue, please?

Let me leave you to ponder the above before I reveal what Magic was to unfold on Monday!

Imbolc 2011 – Chakras and Sonics

At the end of our Yorkshire outing [two-part posts coming soon about that visit] I discovered that I had forgotten (possibly deliberately) to discover the quest that I had to undertake in the first eighth part of the year. Luckily I had a few spare days before the official Imbolc date of 1st February. We are never too hard-lined about getting the cross-quarter dates perfect. These dates are more about a feeling than a rigid division of the year. They are about being ready for transition, not for clock-setting. I used my dowsing rods to determine that the best day would be Monday 31st January this year. On that day, a still and clear night, and very cold, it would be the perfect conditions for discovering this quest.

The druid stage signified by the oak

I chose an oak tree that I was becoming quite familiar with at the end of last year. I had come to feel that I had reached the third stage of druidic development, one that was signified by the symbol of the oak tree. I realise now that one never stops learning from the birch or yew stages either, one simply passed beyond them, taking their legacy and teachings with you as you progress. Both birches and yews will always have special memories for me about how I started out on this path, and then how I deepened that search through the portals of life and death itself, but I felt that now I was comfortable with the mantle of teaching, and thus I was at the oak stage.

The oak that I had in mind stood proudly at the heart of a small wood near to my home (only a few miles away). I drove up to the wood all togged up ready for a long stay in the cold and that’s exactly what I got. Although I was welcomed into the forest and could see quite easily to find my place beneath the great oak, the cold weather made it hard to keep still. It took me over half an hour to get into the right mindset to be able to meditate deeply enough to make contact with the oak. There is also the problem that at this time of year these great trees are barely coming back to life, so their voice is weak too.

I must admit that I really struggled to get any contact made with the tree, but eventually we were talking. Just as I got some words out of it – a large animal, probably a fox, barged into the clearing and smelt my incense burning, running away in a mad scramble that startled me out of my trance. I spent another ten minutes getting back to the point where I was calm enough to connect again.

Spiritual happenings beneath the oak

I gave out love, gratitude and feelings of peacefulness. I wished the forest a fruitful year, and offered my physical protection as much as I would be able. In return I got an image, and an instruction. I saw the line of chakras all along my spine. Each one was a different colour from red at the base to violet at the crown. My attention was drawn up each of the chakras in turn. As my eyes moved upwards, each chakra “chimed” and sparkled. I knew that it was being “opened” by a sound. By the time I got to the top of the spine I was in a very excited state. I felt amazing, and I knew what the quest was. I had to learn to make the sound that would be capable of opening each of my chakras.

Wow. Something amazing to spend the next few weeks doing before Beltane on 1st May. Perhaps then I can put my “singing” into practice and see what happens?

The Soul Powers of Five, Six and Eleven – Part 2

You may have noticed, if you’ve been following such posts, that I have changed the title of this series to remove “seven” and replace it with “six”. By the end of the post I hope this makes complete sense. However, I had collected some information about the number seven and so I will still present it, even though it is now only background information to the eventual explanation of the number six. You will see what I mean as you read on!

The Seven

I have written several times about the seven orders - the septenary – the seven parts of the soul as it is diffracted into our solar-oriented and organised society. Much of this is common knowledge to most students of the esoteric arts and mystery traditions.

The seven we all know and love

For the Solar-aligned cultures we have inherited such recognisable scales as:-

  1. The rainbow colours
  2. The chakras
  3. The planets
  4. The days of the week
  5. The number of heavens

These systems are a reflection of the seven-fold division of the soul – the rays of the original light diffracted.  By tradition, five of the aspects of the soul are tangible and knowable, whilst two are hidden or esoteric and intangible. They are referred to as the five known and the two hidden, and this is a recurring theme. The upper two chakras are associated with spirituality – the Third Eye and the Crown chakras; in the days of the week two of the days are specially designated for not working.

Of the planets the ancients only wrote about the five major bodies (the ‘classical’ planetsMars, Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Jupiter), plus the Sun and the Moon. They left out the farther planets, even though some researchers have suggested that ancient people knew of these outer planets in some detail – namely Neptune and Uranus [cf. Sitchin]. Although such knowledge is mainly based upon interpretation of ancient pictures, our dowsing in stone circles shows that some circles have quite deliberate alignments and influences from those two planets – in fact, they feature quite regularly.

In terms of the senses it was considered that there were five senses, but two additional ones that were hidden: our awareness of ourselves in space (vestibular), and our inner awareness (proprioceptive). Five known, two hidden, making a system of seven.

The Soul Powers of Five, Seven and Eleven – Part 1

Introduction

When I ask the powers that be (the ones that reveal knowledge previously lost or hidden from me through the medium of my dowsing rods) I can often begin down a road whose destination is so far over the horizon, and along so many potential paths, that I initially believe I can never reach the end in my lifetime. Then The Other places helpful signposts along the way, and coupled with my intuition and reason I begin to unveil some of the mystery and begin to walk the paths with more confidence. One such path presented to me was the mystery of The Lunar Eleven. In the following series  of posts I will be discussing my current theory that the numbers Five, Seven and Eleven share a mystical resonance, and that this resonance has particular usefulness for those of us who have identified ourselves as having a “lunar alignment”, i.e. those of us who feel related to or spiritually guided by the powers of The Moon.

However, to get to The Eleven I first had to go through two other numbers – The Five and The Seven. Whilst following my spiritual path I came across a directive that asked me to consider the meaning of The Five and The Seven. I took this to mean that the two numbers had some form of relationship and that one I found the nature of this relationship then I would know what to do : something would make itself known to me that involved five and seven. That was true, I did manage to find the relationship, but as with so many of these riddles one question led to another. No sooner had I discovered the meaning of The Five and The Seven than the next riddle was offered to me to solve – what was The Eleven to me?

The first thing you will notice is that I have turned those numbers into proper nouns. They were clearly identified to me as representing all possible forms of their real numerical values, yet the implication in the riddle was that the numbers would mean something in particular for me, and that I had to find out what that was. Here in this series of three posts I will try to explain what each of those numbers meant to me, and to hopefully inform you of some interesting tidbits of knowledge about those numbers along the way. Don’t worry – this is not a mathematical treatise! I began this journey into these numbers knowing only the most basic of mathematical knowledge, and I haven’t needed to move far from there to find my answers, and I don’t believe you will need to either.

In the first of the posts I will deal with The Five.

The Number Five

From the shape of leaves and petals, to the internal form of fruit, to the proportions of the human skeleton, Nature is defined by the form of five. There is a relationship between the form of five and the number twelve because twelve pentagons put together will form a dodecahedron – a twelve-sided shape which is supposed to be the inherent form of the earth’s geometry.

If a five-pointed star is drawn by lines then the form contains a pentagon at its core. If the points of that pentagon are joined then another five-pointed star shape is drawn. This regression can go on infinitely, and so five-sided shapes contain the concept of fractal geometry – the repetition of self-similarity within an infinitely regressing design. It is said that the Pentad – the five – underlies the form of the spiral via the Fibonacci sequence. The Fibonacci series is created by zero and one (nothing and everything) adding to itself successively. For example, 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, etc… The series is a self-accumulating sequence that grows from within itself and it takes nothing from outside the sequence in order to grow. Growth is the essence to the Pentad’s principle of regeneration – self-replicating growth – which begins from nothing and becomes all.

Interesting, but not where we’re heading right now. Let’s get back to how we use the number five. Mankind has developed systems involving the number five. Specifically I am thinking of the Chinese five elements, but five also relates to the druidic system of elements too: air, fire, water, earth and the fifth element of aether.

The Fifth Element

When we think of The Elements as discussed in traditions such as druidry we think of the four elements that we usually assign to the cardinal points, particularly as described in Wiccan ritual. My five is the druidic elements slightly altered: water, fire, air, earth and wood. The wood comes from my staff, which I take with me to sites and which stands with me in power centres – it has a central role. I have the co-operation of four other etheric spirits – one for air, water, earth and fire.

The fifth element that I associate with wood, wood being the physical representation of that element, is aether. Aether is essentially synonymous with spirit in the sense of “essence”. I differentiate essence from other  manifestations of spirit, such as death energy, energetic shroud, apparition, earth light, UFO, poltergeist, or any host of other names for spirit. When I say spirit I mean the essence of an energy form that contains a sentience, and awareness, an intelligence. Jaq D Hawkins defines it as the medium through which sentience is permeated, a kind of spiritual dark matter. I mean it as a discretely identifiable sentience, often which can be identified by a name. Classically these may have been thought of as the pantheon of spirit energies from gods and goddesses reigning over a civilisation, down through to lowly nature spirits watching over the growth of a small cluster of plants.

As an interesting aside I had an encounter with the force of the aether spirit in such a small way the other day, but which made such a direct choice in my life. I was simply looking for the next book to read that would help me on my way down The Path. I closed my eyes in front of four long shelves of books and asked my spirit guide Theodora to guide me hand to the book that was most useful for me next. My fingers came into contact with a book and I lifted it out off the shelf without looking. I opened my eyes, “The Spirits of Aether” by Jaq D.Hawkins. The one in the series that I hadn’t fully finished reading. Clearly, now was the time!

“The Fifth Element” is also a futuristic sci-fi romp starring Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich, and happens to be one of my favourite films. It’s the only film I’ve watched more than three times, and I never get tired of it. Ideally, I suppose, I should watch it FIVE times.

The Geometry of Five

The geometry of five became important to me in a series of revelations that formed a connected pattern over the space of a few months in 2009. Firstly I was shown Venus in the night sky, and traced a sigil that I then associated with that planet. [see post]. Then I visited Moel-Ty-Uchaf and discovered that the circle was aligned to Venus, and that it drew its power from that planet’s influence. [see post]. Finally, I read about the orbit of Venus and how it forms a five-pointed star as it moves around in the night sky relative to the Earth. Finally, I dowsed that Moel-Ty-Uchaf stone circle is based upon the sacred geometry of the number five and the pentagon. Together, this information showed me the importance of Venus and the sacred geometry of the number five.

Five is the “number of life”, so-called because it is the form through which Nature expresses the life force. Much growth in Nature is performed through the five shape – the pentagon, the pentagram, and it is the number associated with making the life force transform into magical force – through the pentacle.

When it comes to my own work with Nature, five is number of external power shaping my consciousness, and assisting me in my weaving of the elemental forces into natural magickal form. The five powers that I employ – air, earth, water, fire and aether or spirit are the natural powers of Nature that I align myself with, and ally myself to, and the ones with which I have the most empathy, sympathy and resonance.

The Fifth Chakra

The fifth chakra is the Throat Chakra (not the Solar Plexus, as previously published in error). During my work with chakras I had to do a lot of work using my fifth chakra. Traditionally, this chakra is associated with communication:

“The Throat chakra would seem to rule the faculty of speech, being midway between the heart and the tongue.  It is also associated with clairaudience (hearing spiritual voices), and with hearing sounds, words, and music, and with taste, smell.  Another function associated with this chakra is taking in and assimilating of physical and emotional nourishment.  On the gross level this manifests as sensuous desire and enjoyment for food.  This chakra could be associated with the astrological sign of Taurus, which in current astrology is said to ruled by the planet Venus.

In Tibetan Buddhism, this chakra is associated with the dream state of consciousness.  Both Tibetans and Taoists use this chakra to access the dream state and develop the faculty of lucid dreaming.” (source: Kheper.net)

C.W.Leadbeater talks about the five channels of the chakra energy entering the human body. These five energies then get channeled to the seven chakra points in the body (possibly more in some systems). For me, there seemed to be a transition from learning about five into learning about the relationship between five and seven.

That seems like a natural segway into investigating the number seven in the next post.

Ireland ~ How the Boyne mounds were made

Ok, fair dues, It has been so long since we returned from Ireland that I am not going to give a blow by blow account of the trip, frankly I couldn’t recall it all. However I still want to relate some of the more salient and interesting points and so here goes…

Knowth

Setting the scene

On this particular day we had arrived at Knowth and were intending to spend an hour there and then tootle of to Douth, which from all the touristy literature sounded the least exciting of the three main sites in the Boyne valley.

We took the bus from the main entrance to Knowth and the sun was truly favouring us as we wandered around the site exploring the marvelous energies and intuitively divining the use and purpose of the mounds you can see surrounding the main dome. These are described by Gwas in this interesting post.

Just about as the hour was up Gwas and I had separated and I was wandering around the opposite site of the mound to the entrance thinking it was time to go when a pile of bowling ball sized quartz rock crystals caught my eye. As I stared at there white shining surfaces in the sun light I felt an odd sensation.

I can’t recall why I had done it, I certainly had no questions in mind, but suddenly felt the urge to take up a few of the crystals and carry them closer to the mound. Intuitively I pulled out the my rods and asked how I should place them. But as soon as I did I got a call of Gwas to say that the bus was due and that we should go. However I had a real “feeling” about this so I asked him to hold fire because I was on to something.

The rods helped me place the crystals in a pentagram shape and I sat cross legged in the centre facing the sun.

As I mentioned it was quite a warm day and the sun was making my forehead really hot as I sat and tried to meditate. At one point I put my hand on my cheek to see if that was as hot as my forehead. It wasn’t, something else was going on.

A few minutes later I had a vision of white beams of energy coming out of the five crystals placed around me and hitting my forehead. It was as if they were focusing the energy from the sun onto my forehead.

One of the conversations that Gwas and I had been having during our visit to the Boyne was how these massive mounds had been built. We had speculated on mans toil and that it must have taken many years to make.

Now, with these streams of energy “opening” my third-eye chakra I could “see” how they had been made.

In my vision I saw people, sitting around the place where the mound was to be built. Like myself they had crystals placed around them and they too had beams of light being focused on their 3rd eye’s. With this focused power, I saw that they lifted stones with the power of their minds and placed them to create the mound. I also “felt” that it took them around 8 months to build each of the three mounds at Boyne.

As the energy continued to burn into my third eye I could feel that I too could possibly levitate a stone so I looked around the floor for a small pebble to try this on. I found one and focused my mind on trying to life it…nothing! A realise came to me that this wasn’t enough, I lacked the mental discipline those old, what would you call them, priests? had had.

This whole vision lasted only for about 15 minutes before I had to “break it off” I was getting burned out, literally. I moved out of the pentagram and lay in the sun until the heat from my brow had faded and went in search of Gwas to reveal this interesting tale. As I did, I dowsed the veracity of my vision and the rods gave there opinion that it was true.

In my next post I will tell of the profound revelation this “3rd eye opening” had on me at Douth.

Four Knocks: Sun, Moon and Uranus

Saturday 29th May - Four Knocks, County Meath

On the morning of Saturday 29th May I roped Kal into one of my crazy ideas. We would spend the next two days on a modern pilgrimage, just like we had done at Glastonbury the year before. We would find a starting point and then let the dowsing rods direct us from site to site. For me, I would set my intention for this pilgrimage to be to work on each of the seven chakras and to see what came out of trying to do that. For Kal, he would just do what he does – see what happened at each place and go with it. So, with the help of the iMegalith iPhone application and my SatNav system we trekked off to the starting point, which I had determined would be a henge and mound close to Four Knocks.

We didn’t get very far trying to find the henge and mound. The mound was visible in a farmer’s field, but the supposed henge had been… well, let’s assume it was removed and ploughed out of existence! Not a good start. Was there anywhere else we could pick up the quest? Our dowsing showed that nearby Four Knocks would be suitable. As soon as we got the rods crossing we kind of knew that this had actually been the right place all along, but something had been preventing us from dowsing that from afar. We sort of had to be in the area to zoom in on it. Perhaps we had prevented ourselves from ‘finding’ Four Knocks prior to actually being there because we knew you had to obtain a key in order to get in? Who knows. We obtained the said key (by the way – the directions are not very clear – but we found the house eventually and got the key by leaving a small deposit with a nice lady) and went to discover this famous mound’s secrets and begin a quest.

We opened the iron door up (iron – aaargh!!) and began to settle in. I needed some stuff from the car that I had forgotten, and by the time I got back to the mound it was swarming with a minibus-load of tourists from various parts of the world – America, Japan, Australia….all over. Their guide had clearly gone off to get the key without realising that we already had it. Ten minutes later he was in the mound beginning his guided tour of the place, which I earwigged into, of course. Hey – it was free for me to listen!! And jolly interesting it was too, although I could see Kal twitch every now and again, and I was biting my tongue at some of the speculative leaps the guide was making to fill the gaps in the archaeology with fantasy and pure imagination. He was very careful to preface everything with “My guess would be...”, or “Perhaps they might have…”, and even in the dim light I occasionally caught Kal swinging his dowsing rods behind the guide, shaking his head as though to say, “Nope!” It’s funny how dowsing can sometimes make you feel quite confident about being able to find out hidden knowledge, and yet later in the day that confidence would be completely reversed, but we’ll come to that in a later tale.

I don’t know if this is the traditional position but at Four Knocks we have the female on top and the male underneath. Yes, on top of the rounded mound there was female energy all over it. All around the outside of the mound was a male energy line, waving and running around in a sunwise direction. Kal was spending quite a time outside, pacing around and around, working something out, but I decided to get myself inside to take some pictures of the rock carvings and to try to work out what I might have to do to work on my Root Chakra – the first part of my modern pilgrimage. That was the intention, but instead Four Knocks had its own agenda for working my chakras!! I will explain in a moment.

Inside there was more than the usual amount of decoration. Many of the swirling circular shapes were familiar to us, but there was an abundance of zig-zag lines and lozenge shapes carved into the lintels of the recesses in the mound that seemed to be quite unique to this particular chamber, or at least rarely seen in such quantity elsewhere.

Manifestations 2: chakra healing

It was friday last and I was looking forward to a packed – like sardines – weekend, when I got an email of Gwas, fancy visiting a stone circle on Sunday? With a flurry of calls and an email, I repacked my whole weekend to include this extra activity – I mention this because it was truly a tremendous feat to do so!

Dowsers what do not dowse

I was round at Gwas’s for 10 am on a frosty – but unusually clear sunday morning and after – secretly – checking out the energies in Gwas’s house (ooops). We were off to Cerrig-y-Drudion. En-route we made the essential, and quite normal I might add, step for us of buying food for the trip.

Forty minutes or so later – we stepped out of the old reliable and wandered off down a path into what seemed quite an unenergetic wood. Although we did find a couple of photogenic moments with the sun streaming in -hopefully pic here- the Wood/forest was quite dreary – which is the natural state of woods when humans come along and indiscriminately chop bits of it down!!!

We meandered down paths following a OS map which told us we had parked some 2k from the stone circle. Eventually we reached our destination and lo! No stone circle? We were by the side of Alwen (Translation Angel {GWAS: “Llanfihangel” translates as archangel, but ‘Alwen’ means ‘Noble friend’ apparently) reservoir knee-deep in undergrowth which was frost covered and wet, scratching our heads – playing my side-kick part to the max – I came up with the appropriate ‘here’s another fine mess you got me into’ reference.

It was at this point that Gwas’s dowsed and returned the result that “Here there be no stone circles”. We trampled through some more of the forest feeling a bit miffed and disappointed – but as the order of the day had already been set in a discussion in the car – If you don’t find anything interesting, you make something yourself, how appropriate is/was that!

We decided to head off to Rhuddlan Castle – a place we had dowsed in the past. It was close and we figured we could do some manifestations there.

Oooops, Actually we decided to go to Saint Bueno’s cave, which we had walked passed once and – quite remarkably for us – didn’t bother visiting. The reason I mention it is that as we walked to the car we were discussing and deciding to go to the caves and then strangely ended up heading towards the castle???

Distant Manifestation

As chief navigator (or the only one) I managed to avoid the sunday driver root to the castle. On the way we decided to try our hand at some distant manifestations. So far we have done plenty at sites but never tried a manifestation from a distance. Although we had it on our list of things to try.

Gwas, who was driving said he would have a go too. So for a few minutes in the car we were both attempting to visualise and manifest a symbol(s). At one point Gwas complained that his visualisation kept transforming. Whether this was because of his dual focus on driving and visualising is a question to ask?

For my part, I wanted to visualise something different, so I ended up with a circle with two spirals attached to opposite sides of it. I pluncked it on the far side of the castle (opposite the entrance).

An important note: on the way to Cerrig-y-Drudion Gwas told me that he had attempted a manifestation the night before and wondered whether I would be able to dowse it…having failed to find the site I asked Gwas what he had visualised, he said that it had been a triangle with a circle in it – but (as seems to be the case for him at the moment) the visualisation didn’t seem to stabilise.

Finding the triangle – with a spiral

We arrived at the castle, only to find the entrance closed. Undeterred we hopped over the small wall and continued on – with if I recall the sound of police sirens in the distance -

Gwas asked to see if I could find the energies that he had manifested from the car. I had a go asking “Show me the boundary of Gwas’s manifestation” – I walked some paces on the dew covered grass and found a boundary. I then followed it around and to my surprise it formed a triangle with a spiral in it.

The pattern was clearly visible in the wet grass and I turned to Gwas to ask whether this was what he had manifested? No, he said. I was a bit disappointed and watched as Gwas dowsed another section of the field before the Castle and laid out a pattern which he said was what he had manifested. We both swapped places and I dowsed and followed his outline exactly whilst he retraced my steps exactly.

At the time we both for some reason ignored the triangle and spiral – hmmm why did we do that – But now that I am writing this post I wonder if this could have been Gwas’s nightly manifestation?

Dowsing a manifestation only after the creator has walked it

Walking around to the back of the castle I took Gwas to the location I had manifested my energy pattern and asked him to try his luck. Alas I thought he had it when he got the first cicle but then wandered off on some other energetic pursuit.

I tried to dowse my own and got it first time including the two spiral offshoots. This had us both wondering…why couldn’t we dowse each others manifestations? If you read through the posts herein you will see that we have dowsed each others manifestations before.

It was then that I had a kind of eureka moment, what if we could only dowse them after the creator had dowsed them?…what if the other dowser walked in the energy wake of the manifester? This seems like a feasible answer for the moment – of course more investigation will blow or tether it.

More things to consider:

  • are we just dowsing what we believe to be there?
  • are our manifestations too weak for the other to dowse?
  • maybe we could pin them down somehow (crystals come to mind)
  • we could try local (non distant) manifestations and see how we go

What kind of energy are we manifesting?

Here are some of the questions we asked:

  • Is it Reiki energy? Yes
  • Is it Chi energy? Yes (Gwas asked this – my assumption would be that reiki/chi are the same)
  • Is it related to any of the chakras? No
  • Is it neutral Chi then? (this was a daft question and got a Trickster response)
  • Er…exactly – see how hard it is to form questions!!!

Chakra manifestation

Taking a more pragmatic stance I wanted to see what useful energies I could manifest and this is the first time I(we) did this so – please bare with the rawness of the experiment.

What I wanted to do was combine known knowledge with unknown or perhaps subconscious knowledge. Thus I decided to create a manifestation that would be of energetic benefit to me…“An energy manifestation that would align/frequency/vibrational to a chakra that was beneficial to me”

I visualised a energy spiral – why not – it seems the most prevalent form, embuing it – dont ask how – its a doing thing – with a chakra energy that would be healing for me. Now I didn’t consider which chakra energy would be healing to me – this is where the subconscious or whatever you want to call it comes in.

After a few minutes visualisation I dowsed for the spiral and found it straight away – a triple spin one – short and sweet. I then checked to see which chakra it was vibrationally aligned with and got an immediate response from Earth – the first one? I thought – with a thoughtful air I dowsed for any other frequency matches… Earth, Sacral and Throat were indicated. I reflected on this result for some moments – If I would have wondered at what I thought I would need I wouldn’t have come up with these…or would I? Hmmm.

Gwas came over from his own experiments and asked what I was up to and after a quick recap he had manifested a what? which indicated the following colours yellow and indigo. i.e. Solar plexus and Brow chakras.

We both stood in our power centers and let the energies do there work after which – Gwas dragged me away from the site – I still had a pocket full of questions – and he pulled me away whilst my rods were still spinning!

Reflections on the chakras manifestation

On our return trip as always – ruminations, puzzles and wonder were abound. I expounded a little on the nature and reflection of each chakra and Gwas determined why he got yellow and indigo. I also explained that I could understand the Earth and Sacral energy alignments – but am still puzzled over the throat chakra.

I was exploring this very reason when I got a Trickster response of the rods. left rod staying fixed forward right one twirling inwards…what does that mean?

What answers and the many (as per) questions that go with it

As is always and endlessly the case – each exploration lends to many questions:

  1. for me an important exploration is what I am going to call the Trickster response – how can I explore it tho?
  2. why cant we dowse each others manifestations – until they have been dowsed?
  3. we tested to see how long the manifestation would last and got 30mins – how to make them longer? Gwas determined that we could make them permanent – but how?
  4. there is so much more chakra oriented manifestations we can do – for healing ourselves and others. this is going to be a big area for me.
  5. dowsing each others chakras to detect imbalances and seeing if these match a healing manifestation

Everytime I think we have scratched the surface – the Trickster reminds me that I haven’t.
