Ancestral knowledge – Lammas 2

Ancestral knowledge – Lammas 2

In the previous post I talked about my experiences in Nether Largie. Well, in the field next to that stands a singular stone. As I watched Chris leave I noted that he hadn’t needed to go that stone. I was of the same mind, however as I walked by the gate into the field it was in, the rods twitched. Fortunately the gate to the field was openable and I didn’t have to climb it, this area being very public and all. The rods led me towards it in a very feminine way, gentle and smooth wavy path with many a spiral along the way. Visually it didn’t look very spectacular and I presumed that that was why there were no tourists in this field. Regardless, I continued my walk towards it. I was about a quarter of the way, when a bee fluttered by. Since my...

The finer points of becoming a Knight

As you will read in Gwas’s posts he is on a mini quest to seek out energies pertaining to Taliesin. Who am I to say no to tagging along on such a quest? So when the opportunity arose, of course I said yes! We drove to the outskirts of Conway, skirting the beautiful castle there and then up into the wild-lands. And when I say wild I mean wild. But we’re kind of used to that and so it was with out much-ado that, after a half-mile muddy trek, we arrived at our destination. I had to (according to the rods) prepare a little further away from the site whilst Gwas was invited in immediately. After a suitable preparation time I was ready to do some work here. Of course I had asked the prerequisite questions… Is there anything I can do for this sacred...

Spirals on the Knights Quest

(This post has been lost in a time warp and should have been published Oct 2011) Wow! What a day (or night I should say) The tale is long and one has to follow my Knights Quest to get the gist of it but I would like to give you the next sting in the tale and demonstrate the spiral nature of life phenomena. My American girlfriend was due to arrive at Heathrow airport on Monday night and I was so looking forward to her visit. In part because she was supposed to be giving me the conclusionary direction on my Knights Quest. Customs and Immigration had other ideas and because of some really regrettable planning on our part they sent her back to the States. Reasons… Lack of return ticket having packed all her stuff (we were intending to go to California...

Knights Pilgrimage 1 of 5 waylayed onto a pilgrimage

After the evening at Gop Hill (see  nightly revelations) I had missed the message that my knights quest had completed, successfully I might add. As I said in that post I was rather disappointed at its conclusion as I had been looking forward to the challenge of completing a south-north pilgrimage. And indeed had been informed at Dinas Bran (see Dinas Bran shows the way) that my pilgrimage should start at the Forest of Dean. Anyway a week had past since our visit to Gop Hill and I was beginning to accept the completion of my quest. You might “how did it feel?” Not any different I’m afraid. I have to say that I was/am looking forward to the Spring Equinox ( a week away) which being a sun person will, I feel be very enlightening. It was a bright...

Full moon and Knights quest completed – but why?

It was a full moon tonight and Gwas called me up about 4:30pm and suggested we go out. As always I was game and off we toodled to a spot that may seem innocuous but has been a place we have both found to energetically fruitful. The place being Gop Hill. As an aside, on the way to Gwas’s abode I left the motorway (freeway) and came to a stop at the junction at the top. I was waiting. The sun had almost reached the horizon and it was a very cloudy day. I had a notion that if a spark of sunlight should escape before it set then the evening would be prosperous. So I waited. The car behind me honked his horn and then pulled up besides mine, “are you ok?” the man asked and I responded by gesturing at the setting sun. “I am waiting to see if the...
