THE LOOPY BOX
On this spiritual path that I follow I get to meet some unusual people, and to do some very peculiar things. As part of the development of my druidic powers I leave very few stones unturned, and many of the things that I had previously closed off (in my figurative Loopy Box) have been unpacked again and re-examined. Kal and I have introduced this term “Loopy Box” to define all the things we believe are beyond our current ability to accept. The phrase I most often hear myself say is,. “Well, I never thought I’d say that I agreed with that!” Let me introduce you to another item from my Loopy Box – the psychic.
My friend Michael has many talents in addition to be a likable and jolly chap. He’s a good cook, a competent dowser and valued healer, and also has the ability to read auras and receive information from The Otherworld. So, it was my absolute pleasure to spend time with Michael and a lady called Maddy, who we had both initially met at one of the dowsing courses at Gawsworth Hall in Cheshire earlier in the year. Since then Michael and Maddy had been meeting regularly. Now they included my wife and I in the conversations too, and I want to report some of the highlights of this particular afternoon’s conversations and experiences.
During our conversations Michael revealed to me that my aura was an unusual colour – turquoise. He also remarked that my wife’s aura was light green. Finding this information out I went away to find out what it meant to have a turquoise aura and discovered this information:
“In the Aura turquoise has not been common, it may be seen around Poets and Mystics, indicates a person with a seeking mind who is interested in almost everything, some may specialize in research of some kind, usually altruistic , to benefit humanity as a whole analytical, insightful, good counselors.” (source: Pjentoft.com)
It is also associated with the star sign Aquarius. This is a very apt description of me. I am an Aquarian by birth, and studied poetry at University. Now I might call myself mystically-inclined, and am very much a generalist. Recently I have begun to specialise in altruistic areas such as energy healing and earth healing.
I found this cool guidance for learning how to see auras, and I’m going to try it out:-
“Seeing the Aura
This exercise is designed to see Aura for the first time and/or practice seeing Auras. Choosing good conditions is important: not only you see the Aura better, but also to gain a confidence about what you see.
- Situate the person in front of a very softly illuminated PLAIN WHITE background. A color background will change Aura colors, so you need additional knowledge about combining colors. Some combinations of background and Aura colors may cause misinterpretation problems.
- Choose ONE SPOT to look at. The middle of the forehead is VERY GOOD. This is a location of so called Brow Chakra or the Third Eye. In some cultures (India) they put a mark on a forehead. Such a mark in ancient times could mean the invitation to look and see the Aura.
- Look at this spot for 30 to 60 seconds or longer
- After 30 seconds analyze surroundings with your peripheral vision, while still looking at the same spot. Continuing the concentration is most important. Resist temptation to look around. You should see that the background nearby the person is brighter and has a DIFFERENT color than the background further away. This is your own perception of the Aura. The longer you concentrate, the better you will see it. Remember, concentration on one spot increases your sensitivity by accumulating the effect of the Aura vibration reaching your eyes.”

2012 and all that
We had a brief discussion about some concepts of the year 2012. Maddy and Michael were confident that the year would bring about a certain change in human consciousness. This is an idea that I have heard expressed many times in many forms before. I made my comment that I felt that the impending galactic alignment was probably more of an opportunity for aware people to make use of the energy available than an imposed global transformation, and I also introduced the guys to the work of Carl Johan Calleman and his theories on the nine-step evolution of consciousness.
A month later I would read about the huge helix of unknown energy that had been detected at the centre of the galaxy – I wonder what that heralds? Here’s a link that that article - link.
I would refer you also to a Red Ice Radio interview with Barbara Hand Clow about similar subjects: BHC Interview. In that interview Barbara discusses her thoughts on the current position of human culture in relation to what she sees are the energetic changes taking place in the galaxy around us, and as they affect us on the approach to The Galactic Alignment.
“Beyond Coincidence” is the very intriguing title for a book. Its authors Martin Plimmer & Brian King hint at the possibility of a sensible discussion of highly anomalous and unusual phenomena related to extreme probabilistic events. The book tells us many stories that seem to defy the mathematics of probability itself. At the end the authors make a frankly cursory and flimsy attempt at an explanation. Their conclusion? In a world of almost infinite probabilities anomalous events must eventually occur, and the recording of these events in history, when presented together seem more than they are when taken in isolation, and merely demonstrate the vagaries of chance. The book is now selling in the New & Used section for one pence.
When I read this I was more than disappointed, I was annoyed. The authors had gone to all the trouble of collecting and collating stories, some more probable than others, but then ducked out of a viable discussion of the possibilities underlying the events by deferring to mathematics. I was left wholly unsatisfied with the treatment. Since reading that book several years ago I have been collecting my own tales of coincidence. With the addition of Kal’s unusual life events this has become a compendium that now rivals the Beyond Coincidence book in its scope. Take, for example, today’s events. Now, when I tell you this, you will be able to explain it all away easily – the factors involved are probabilistic, in that they all have a potential for occurrence, and the events must, at some point, occur together. I don’t disagree with their inevitability - what I draw your attention to is this: should you turn your own attention to such coincidences in your own life, you will find that mathematical probability becomes seriously warped and it will make your head swim with questions of a philosophical nature. Here’s the story:
Kal was sitting in a cafe in a large town. He is engaged in conversation with friends when he thinks he sees an old friend who he hasn’t seen for many months passing by the window. Except, his old friend looks slightly thinner and her hair is shorter, but nevertheless he is struck by the fact she has walked by and decides that, when he has finished in the cafe, he might have a walk around to see if he can bump into her in order to say hello and catch up on events. So, several minutes later he is walking around the town centre visiting places that she may frequent, but with no joy. She is not there, and now he begins to doubt whether he really did see her. Giving up, he heads back to one of the many car parks around the town. As he makes his way along a street he looks up - there, heading towards him is his old friend. But she is not thinner, and her hair is still long! The woman he saw earlier was not his old friend, but someone else who reminded him of her!
Coincidence, certainly, but it doesn’t end there. I am at work and it’s lunchtime, so I’m on the blog seeing which draft posts I still have on the go. I find that I have one whose subject is itself ’coincidence’. I begin to edit the post in order to flesh out the ideas I had jotted down. I am absorbed with writing, and as I start a sentence with the words, “Kal and I…” I see a new e-mail arrive in my postbox. It’s Kal, telling me the story of his extraordinary coincidence.
How’s that for a bundle of coincidences? Now, that’s all very mundane and ordinary as examples go, but such is the web of most of our lives. What it is an example of is not just coincidence, but rather something more extraordinary than that, and far less mundane.
As we approach the end of the Mayan Calendar, whose end date is 2012 (arguably) people like Ian Xel Lungold and Carl J.Calleman speculate that the planet is going through the latter stages of a change in consciousness. This consciousness change is being manifestly accelerated by our modern inventions, as it always has been. In other words, our society and its overall consciousness is evolving at an increasingly fast pace, and in definite step changes. Lungold makes the case, convincingly enough to me, that throughout evolution there have been moments when consciousness changed to a higher level. The consciousness changes are charted in a 9-step pyramid form as:-
Each stage is a foundation level upon which we build, opening up new levels of consciousness as each cycle is attained. Each stage introduces new laws of possibility which govern our development. Of course it is simple to “prove” the dates incorrect because we were all there at the birth of the internet, right? We all know EXACTLY when that happened, right? Let’s not be bound by an anal kind of exactitude. What is undeniable is the flow of consciousness evolution, and it’s not just human consciousness, but the consciousness of everything. I urge you to watch the YouTube videos in which Lungold explains Calleman’s ideas – it will be three hours of your remaining conscious time that you will never regret.
As you can see, the final stage is still to come. The change we have just entered is “Galactic Consciousness” in which we realise that the power structures upon which we rely are actually unreliable, and we enter into an ethical structure that takes greater responsibility for what we consciously create. The final stage – “Universal Consciousness” – involves a realisation of the process of conscious co-creation. It will be the realisation of our ability to consciously and clearly co-create experience with each other and the rest of existence. To put it plainly, we will make the world what it will be through our thoughts and actions. We will integrate our consciousness in a working relationship with Nature, or The Other, and the unfolding of time.
That’s the theory, but what might it mean in practise? Who knows. I certainly don’t think that all the planet will be affected by these changes at the same time. I think these timings and stages of consciousness as defined indicate the threshold points where human consciousness can CONCEIVE OF them. Once we conceive of something as a possibility, then we slowly begin to make it happen in reality in our own time. It’s like the inventor – he can’t invent something until he has conceived of the possibility of it first. His next step is to theorise as to what is possible, and finally to make it happen. I think these processes may unfold in the same way. What they represent is the potential to begin to make these changes manifest in the world of human consciousness on a meaningful scale – i.e. if enough people “get it” then it begins to take shape in the everyday reality of more and more people until the change becomes integrated as the new reality that everyone accepts and can understand.
We may be heading for just such a change in possibility soon. Certainly, my own spiritual journey seems to be timed to coincide with these events. If I look back at how I thought only two years ago many of the concepts I now consider to be integrated and everyday were so outlandish and unproven to me that they were irrelevant. Now I have experienced conscious co-creation and coincidence more regularly I have the experiences to back up my newly evolving thought processes and my boundaries of possibility are extending.
The extent and pace of the progress also seems to match the speed of approach and trajectory of 2012, but I still don’t know what to make of that, other than that Ian Xel Lungold’s theories are the only 2012 theories that make any sense to me, and which have practical manifestations in the world around me and in my head.
What I’m suggesting, in relation to the story of Kal and his old friend and myself, is that we are beginning to consciously co-create events in conjunction with the flow of the universe itself. As we progress along our spiritual paths we are increasingly entering into the flow of consciousness and its evolutionary timescale. As we synchronise with this flow these events begin to occur more frequently, and we become much more involved in their occurrence. The world changes from being a mechanical, Newtonian, pre-defined, mathematical, quantifiable entity to become a world of imaginative magical possibility when one joins the flow and steps beyond coincidence!
The whole concept particularly resonates with me because the final step into Universal Consciousness begins on my birthday in just over a year’s time.
p.s. After publishing this post I went downstairs for a drink. Whilst there I switched on the TV to see what was on. It was “The Matrix”. The last five minutes. I joined the film at the point where Lawrence Fishburn’s characters says “He’s starting to believe” until the point where Neo overcomes the matrix through an evolution of consciousness…into conscious co-creation! Sometimes when you’re in the flow, the coincidences let you know.
There is a natural overlapping between the two areas of dowsing and crop circles. It is almost inevitable that dowsers would use their skills and sensitivities to try to determine the validity of claims concerning the creation of circles and to map their energy patterns.
My interest in crop circles only got awakened very recently. I was at Bryn Celli Ddu in Anglesey when I met an Australian guy who had travelled the world looking at ancient sites. He was very interested in the dowsing Kal and I were doing. When we chatted he discussed many esoteric topics but stated that I should re-consider crop circles as a phenomenon, rather than dismiss them all as a hoax.
And so the search begins for real circles.
My first stop was Michael Glickman’s book “Cornography: New Swirled Order“. I just liked the title, and the style of the book, it being a download of his blog material. Turns out he’s quite a well-know figure “in these circles” (couldn’t resist that one). I’ve been reading it avidly and can feel his passion for the subject, and his hatred of detractors. In the book he mentioned a video which purports to be a real-life early morning capture on film of white orbs flying around forming a crop circle. Glickman is positive that the video is not a hoax.
So, I go and look it up on the web. The only video I can find, Oliver’s Castle, includes the word “hoax” at the end of the title. Oh! Then you start reading the reports of the Crop Circle Connector group. They also now admit it was a hoax. Tell you what, though, it’s very well done! I was convinced on first viewing, but several things don’t stack up: a) The orbs don’t fluctuate in size with changes in distance, and b) at one point they appear semi-transparent as they fly away across the field. Hmmm. Why?
Other searches reveal a Dutch scientist who postulates the theory that, if the circles are made by orbs which dispense microwave energies onto the crops then they circles should show signs of reacting strongly to the energies near the centre, with a reduction in that effect further out. Indeed, he seems to prove that this is the case by measuring the amount of swelling in the stalks, and this seems to coincide with his theory.
One aspect that I find interesting is the number of recent circles that display aspects of Mayan design concepts, as though hinting at the Mayan Calendar with its 2012 end date. Personally, I am less convinced by circles that appear to have designs that are so human-related. However, they form beautiful patterns that may make people think about the subject at least.
Another aspect that is significant particularly to dowsers is the continuing use, and indeed progressive complication of crop circles that utilise the principles of sacred geometry in their design. Perhaps there is something fundamental about these sacred number sequences and mathematical relationships that signify something of import – I just wish I knew what! Sacred geometrical patterns and numeric relationships are abundant at sacred sites. When the concept of the Megalithic Yard is considered too, then interesting proportions emerge from the measurement of stone circles, cromlechs, standing stones and other geomantic sites. “Think fractal.”
So, the next step for Kal and I in relation to crop circles is to ensure that we are available to visit some when they start appearing in Wiltshire in the Summer of 2009. We already have a rigorous list of questions designed to reveal useful information from sites, so let’s add crop circles to the list and see whether they stack up with other earth energy areas. I draw the line at sleeping in a field waiting for the orbs though!
Follow your path in a spiral to the centre.
There’s something about that phrase: “Credit Crunch”. Sounds like you’ve got to do a certain amount of sit-ups to repay your debts. Painful! Here it is folks. Today, officially recognised as “a recession”. Today was the tipping point. The point where Terence McKenna‘s Time Wave Zero software predicted a descent on a scale not seen for 43,000 years in terms of importance to the development of humankind and its level of consciousness.
I would highly recommend getting hold of a ‘torrent’ client such as BitComet and getting hold of the latest version (v7.10) of McKenna’s program. It can be a bit daunting at first until you get the hang of it – I watched his YouTube videos and listened to his MP3s to get a feel for how he was using it, then suddenly you get it!
Today is the start of the descent into Novelty. McKenna variously describes this as the attribute of complexification, a time when new things happen, an agglomeration or “concrescence” accumulating everything together to form the next major turning point, which his software predicts to be the 10th February 2009. That’s when the descent into novelty bottoms out.
What does this descent into novelty mean? A new paradigm for banking perhaps? The start of a realisation amongst the populations of this planet that global financial structures and edifices were made of cardboard, and then the rains came. We have built ever more elaborate systems of blinds and canopies to protect it from the rains, but now they have been shown to be worthless, tacky, poorly designed.
Novelty could mean many things. It will usually mean taking new decisions, thinking differently, connecting further, sharing experience in order to overcome a situation. All I know is that it is a polar opposite to Habit. And I try to break habits as soon as I spot them if they are making me subservient to their patterns, instead of guiding me efficiently towards my aim.
Others have written about the confluence of monetary systems and the measurement of time. In this article from the Red Ice site the author compares the Mayan Calendar to the ups and downs of the markets: http://www.redicecreations.com/specialreports/mayaneconomy.html
UPDATE: AUGUST 2009
Well, it seems as though some European countries have declared themselves to be out of recession now. McKenna’s intricate and intriguing software seemed to suggest, from my reading of the peaks and troughs, that the current turnaround in fortunes would occur in November of this year. I will update the post again then too, to see whether this was a false dawn or a false reading, or perhaps to say – look how accurate the curve was. We’ll have to wait and see. That’s the fun thing about the future. It’s always a step ahead of you.
